Base Unit of Measure

I am running the Stock overview query and for some plants I get an asterix in some of the key figures for example "Quantity Total Stock"

We have found out that this is because there are mixed units of measure i.e. pcs, kg etc. What is the best way for me to overcome this so that the values are shown? Thanks

Hi Niten,

Have you seen this document: How to Report Data in Alternate Units of Measure

https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/servlet/prt/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/b7b2aa90-0201-0010-a480-a75...

Hope this helps...

Thanks for that. It is a good document but I am trying to just show the values in the base unit. Is there no way of doing this without the user entering a conversion since in some cases there may not be an easy to define relationship?

Hi

I am looking to configure the base unit of measure for an item from peices to pallets. for ex, lets say

1 pallet = 50 peices

Where do i configure this in Handling Unit Management?

Hi Siddharth,

You may need to post a seperate question so that you can award people points if their response helps you.

In our case the problem we had was more so at the source system R3 level i.e. in the industry that we are in on the R3 side the consultants are still finalising unit conversions and their feasibilty
