Report with static Parameter list runs fine, once dynamic blank selection screen obtained

Hello valuable contributors,

I have a crystal 2013 report viewed under SAP BI launch pad Platform 4.1.

I have admin rights on the platform and underlying sql.

I have report R1 using view V1 with select rights to user group G1.

R1 runs fine under my credential and user U1, member of G1.

Report R2 uses view V2 for dynamic parameter selection along with V1 for main report data. V2 has select rights to user group G1.

It runs fine under my credentials. But when U1 runs it, the parameter screen is blank with no data.

User U1 can view data when running a new report R3 using only V2 as data view.

Can any one advise where might be the issue.

1. Can you check G1 group has read access right to V2 in Business View Manager?

2. Delete cache from the cacheserver of the BI4.x/Crystal Reort 2013 server environment
For example, go to the following path and delete the temp files within CrystalReportsCachingServer folder

%DefaultDataDir%/CrystalReportsCachingServer/temp
