ESS IT Declaration Edit / Delete approval workitem reg:-

Hi,

On deleting IT declaration record in ESS, work item count not reduced in MSS approval chip. also the number of times employees edit the request and submit, those many times workitems are getting generated.

Steps to reproduce the incident:

Step 1: Employee (ESS) initiated IT Declaration

Step 2: MSS approver gets work item in approval chip as "2 IT Declaration Approvals"

Step 3: Before approval, employee (ESS) deletes the request.

Step 4: MSS approval chip still showing " 2 IT Declaration Approvals" and on clicking the work item, no record exist for approval.

can you ensure your POWL is refreshed? Can you refresh it also, once you enter ie manually

You can set default refresh for POWL_QUERY also

How are you testing? Are you jumping from one user to another without clearing your browser cache? Are you keeping 2 browser sessions going and expecting the MSS one to auto-update (ie. like AJAX style refresh)? At first look, it seems a cache issue.
