Hello to all, I have a problem when visualizing the graphics of the reports in BW 3.5 (WAD)
the connection RFC IGS_RFC_DEST has never worked however me same the graphics are visualized, but now I am not able to make that the graphics appear in the WEB.
I thank your help.
Christian.
Hi Christian,
I think may be the problen with your IGS configuration.
Try the following step to do it:
Configuring Internet Graphics Services (IGS) for using Business Graphics UI element in WebDynpro for Java
Internet Graphics Services will be available as default with installation of WAS. However there is some configuration needs to done before using Business Graphics.
Open the visual administrator and log in to it
Navigate to server -> services -> configuration adapter -> webdynpro -> sap.com -> tcwddispwda
Double click the PropertySheetDefault file to select it
Change the IGSUrl property so that it reflects the URL of the IGS server. Generally the URL will be http://<servername>:<serverport>/ in which IGS server is running. The server port shall be of form 4<J2E Instance>80, however it wont be of the above mentioned form always.(J2E Instance number can be found from SAP MMC)
Restart the SAP J2EE engine
Note: To check whether IGS is installed, open SAP MMC and from there click on the process node and check whether IGS watchdog is running.
Note: If IGS is not configured then while deploying any webdynpro application which uses Business Graphics will show a picture of broken pie chart labeled Graphics Rendering problem.

Hope this will work for you----
Thanks & regard,

Hi Christian,
if your RFC destination works please check report GRAPHICS_IGS_ADMIN to see if the IGS works correctly, e.g. if all IGS interpreters are loaded successfully.
See note <a href="http://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/995471">995471</a> for more information about this report.
Best regards
Matthias

You need to enable your IGS administration after you upgrade your IGS patch level. Check the oss note 931900. After you apply this note, you will be able to run RSRT -> IGS test without any problem.

Small correction in the directory for IGS files.
/usr/sap/<SID>/Dxxx/igs/conf
Thanks

Hi Christian
If your IGS_RFC_DEST does not give connection test OK, then it will not work.
Please check the parameters in the RFC and verify the values with the igs.xml file in the /usr/sap/DV*/igs/cfg directory.
If both of them are correct then your RFC should also work fine.
Thanks
