Custom Fields are not updating and save in additional tab in SES

I need to add few custom fields on SES, I have used the screen exit SRVEUSCR and added the fields in CI_ESSRDB. These fields are also appearing in the additional tab, but I am not able to update and save these fields in database tables. I have written the code in EXIT_SAPLMLSR_020 and EXIT_SAPLMLSR_021.

What and where should i write the code to update and save these fields in table.

Check your code for dynpro and EXIT_SAPLMLSR_021 to insure you pass the correct values back to main program.

    • Post your code of the two includes AND your code in the global area/top include of the exit function group (Include ZXM1UTOP). You have to create some save data area in this one (e.g. using a TABLES statement, also save AKTYP field to identify display/update mode) and move your data between this area and the PBO and PAI FM and subscreen dynpro. (As in 99% of customer exit with subscreen provided for extension)

I want the input of one zzfield1 to update with formula in second zzfield2. I have added both the fields in CI_ESSRDB. But when user enters the value in zzfield1:

    1. It cannot be seen in change/display mode after save, though it present in Table.

2.Second zzfield2 does not gets update on screen and table.

I have written below code EXIT_SAPLMLSR_021 to update :

    E_ESSRDB-zzfield2 = e_essrdb-zzfield1 / 1000.

what code should i write in dynpro or in exit to pass the correct values to main program.
