i am facing following issue while installing add on using tcode SAINT

Hi Sudhanshu,

I changed the tags on your question, as this is a Software Logistics question, and additionally it's pretty clear this is related to a NetWeaver ABAP system. It's important to choose the right tags in order to get your question in front of the right people.

However, as Juan points out, much more information is required before. What is your NetWeaver release? What Add-On are you trying to install? Is there a technical code for the error message? What have you tried already for troubleshooting?

What version in your SAP system?..

You should be using SUM to upgrade components/add-ons

Hi

i got the same error.

System EHP8 SAP HANA

SAP Basis 750

Cant open transaction saint anymore without getting this error.

"At least one semaphore for another system id and/or client range exists"

Any solutions?

this error should only occur, if the affected system was part of a system copy, where in the source system a SPAM or SAINT queue was not confirmed at the time of system copy export has started.

Can you confirm this?`

Unfortunately there is not yet an official solution for that. Please open an SAP incident on component BC-UPG-OCS-SPA.

I am facing a similar issue with my system and yes, my system is a copy of another system.

Can you please help with this, I have raised an OSS Incident as directly by you.

319561/2017 is the incident number
