SAP HANA database views used in calculation views

Hi

We are trying to use Hana database views in calculation views. But we are getting an error when we want to save and activate the view which it states that there is a model inconsistency and that the database view is incompatible.

The database view is listed as a Row based view so we thought maybe the calculated view requires the DB view to be a column view so we tried to create a column view , which then throws an error that it is not supported.

The SAP Hana db that we are on is SP9

thanks

Catalog SQL views are not supported as data sources in graphical calculation views.

Also: SPS 9 is outdated for quite some time now, so you might want to look into using a current HANA 1 version, i.e. SPS 12.

      Thanks Lars

The Client is in the process upgrading to SPS 12.

Just takes a long time in a corporate environment to regression test all the solutions before going to production.

      Thanks for the answer
