Hi all,

I am working on ABAP. Now I want to move to SAP HR (Techno Functional). How about future for SAP HR? Is it right desicion? Which module of HR is on demand? Can anyone please guide me.

My personal opinion is :

a) Having knowledge of hr (along with abap)

is good

b) But there is no point in becoming a techno-functional

bcos, then there will no thin-line

between the work of abap and other things.

(we have to do abap also, and other hr stuff also)

2. How about future for SAP HR?

Its just like other modules only, as far

as future is concerned.

3. Which module of HR is on demand

It depends upon the implementaiton.

a) sometimes payroll

b) sometimes training & event management

c) sometimes recrruitemtn (along with e-recruiemtn, ess, mss)

Hi,

The difference with classical ABAP is that HR heavily depends on infotypes and if you want to do something with payroll, you need of course to understand the local legistlation.

HR ABAP also has a good future .... PayRoll is always an evergreen one in that ...

The components of that one are

1. Payroll

2. Time Management

3. Organisational Management.....

ABAP HR has very good future as there are currently many openings are there for it.

You can concentrate on Payroll,Timemanagement which are very very important in terms of HR Module.

ABAP HR Consultants future is going to be very bright.....

HI,

this is venkat,now a days techno functional is very rare to choose. If u choose this that is a good decision.concentrate on time management,training and event management.Otherwise you will go for ABAP HR.
