Alert configuration for Inbound and outbound Idoc

Hi Team

I have created two interface

: 1: IDOC_AAE to JDBC scenario

2 : SOAP to IDOC_AAE

Requirement : I want to setup alert configuration either mail communication .

Case 1: Suppose some trigger the outbound idoc from SAP system and idoc failed in within SAP system .

Case 2: SAP PI delivered a successful message for inbound idoc but IDOC failed in SAP side .

Can we set up alert configuration or any mail commination in SAP PI system for both failed case .

Please help me for this issue .....

Hi Pankaj,

In both the cases, failure is taking place at the SAP side and that particular system has to generate the Alert, not PI.

I also think this is not feasible.
