Loan/Lease and Exchange Processes in SAP service management.

We have a requirement to build a process where we have to loan or exchange of some parts for example a navigator of airplane.

Loan Process

XXXXX company is providing navigators which needs to be replace before 2020 as per Aviation standard, so our company has gain that contract to trade these equipment and get it repaired their fault from XXXX company and in the meantime if it is getting repaired we are loaning our equipment which we have purchased from this company will be giving as lease to customer till he/she gets back their part from repair from this XXXX company. So process flow will be Loaning the part to customer—No posting in our system—so either we can use customer consignment fill up order or STO or what? In Parallel will do repair order and service order process in with this.

And get back from customer as KA order and then invoice the customer as a service used for X days Now we need to do goods receipt from customer and needs to send this part to XXXX Company for re-certification.

Exchange Process

If customer wants to have exchange of this part from us then we do normal sales order to him to send these goods to him order- delivery- shipment-invoice but at this time we want to have the part from customer as exchange unit with a flat price no matter what is the condition of that part and send it to XXXX company because that is XXXX company’s property.

Now as a normal outrage sale we have reduce our inventory by 1 so at this point we should we have re-order of new part to fill up our inventory for next upcoming loan or exchange order.

Moreover there can be Conversion options:

• Sale to Exchange
• Lease to Sale
• Lease to Exchange
• Exchange to Lease
• Exchange to Sale
