Solved: Dispatcher is stopped on solution manger3.2

Hi all,

We installed solution manger3.2 and it was working fine.But since two days our server is not up ie dispatcher+work.exe is stopped.so i am attaching the contents of dev.disp please have a look on it and advice us.Thanks in advance for ur help.

dev_disp indicates that all workprocesses died

dev_w0 indicates that dboraslib.dll could not be loaded. This may have two reasons:

1. dboraslib.dll is not present in the DIR_EXECUTABLE directory.

2. the Oracle Client DLLs could not be loaded.

2 can have 3 reasons:

1. if Oracle9 is used, %ORACLE_HOME%\bin is not included in the environment variable path of user sidadm

2. in case of Oracle9 and a pure dialog instance: Oracle Client Software was not installed

3. in case of Oracle10 Oracle Instant Client was not unpacked into the DIR_CT_RUN directory or (in case of an upgraded system) sapcpe.exe was not updated with the one from SMP, which will replicate the instant client from DIR_CT_RUN to DIR_EXECUTABLE.

M Error 126 = "The specified module could not be found."

Have you check that the above dll exist?... Otherwise download the DB part of the kernel and copy that dll back into the kernel directory and try again.

Hello nizamuddin ,

Please make sure that your Database is running fine.

Generally the dispatcher depends on the connectivity of the database.

May be you can restart the whole application in the following sequence and the restart in the opposite one.

1) Stop the SAP via MMC.

2) Goto services.msc and then stop the SAP related services.

3) Now incase if you have oracle then shutdown the Oracle Database using SAPDBA / brtools / sqlplus tool.

For other Database please make sure you make it down

4)Next go to services.msc and stop the Datbase services and the listener too.

Now you can reboot your System.

After you have rebooted your system start the application in the opposite direction that you stopped.

I hope that this should help you, if not do revert back with details.
