Error in Source System

Hi

I am extacting data using Data Source: 0FI_AA_11. I am seeing the error "Error in Source System, Extraction of 0FI_AA_11 not possible. Extract 0ASSET_AFAB_ATTR first" in Monitor Screen.

Can you please let me know, how to fix this error?

Hi

follow these steps

go for se38

give the program RS_TRANSTRU_ACTIVATE_ALL

then it will ask

infosourse and source system name

enter 0ASSET_AFAB_ATTR and u r source system name execute it

SAP guys enter to my system and fix it directly ...and leave me a transport request for pass the changes....i dont know if there a OSS note....

HI,

even I got a very much similar error once

the error is "Extraction of 0FI_AA_11 not possible. Extract 0ASSET_AFAB_ATTR first".

then I deleted the bad request from the data targets by making it red, since it was a delta Infopackage(IP).

then i repeated the IP, it was succeful.

u can try this. but i dint knw hw it was successful for the 2nd time.

Hi i have BI7.0 and exactly the same error....it as solved by SAP through a SAP OSS note....they enter in my system and fix the problem

Can you please give me the OSS Note number as u have not mentioned in the message.

I got one OSS Note 535016 in one of the link. But the same code already existed in our system.

Hi Venkata,

try extracting data from RSA3. if your enhancements for this data source are active, it should give display records. Your enhancements must be active for this. Hope this helps.

Hi Venkata,

it seems you have a routine in your update/transfer rules or in the InfoPackage that ask you to upload first Master Data of 0ASSET_AFAB_ATTR. Try uploading first this InfoSource.

I am having enhancements in R/3 side for this particular data source. I already uploaded master data 0ASSET_AFAB_ATTR separately. Still i am facing this error.
