Hello,
I am facing capacity scheduling issue and I need help to setup the correct profiles.
To start with I am using finite scheduling indicator in the work center. When I tried to create production order, it is checking the available capacity and proposing the new dates (forward or backwards based on available capacity) if there is capacity load on that specific date. That scenario works totally fine.
Issue: Lets say I have production order that requires 10 hours of the operation time and I have 3 hours as an available capacity for today.
It is always going to the next day for some reasons. It's not considering the 3 hours that I have today to split the required/available capacities.
This is what I have in the strategy profile:
Could you please let me know if I am missing something in this strategy profile?
Thank you
Can anyone help me on this issue. I am not sure if we can split the required/available capacities through config.
Thank you

Thanks for your response Jessica. It didn't fix the issue. It's not splitting the required/available capacities. Is there any other config change that I need to look into apart from the strategy profile?

You can deactivate "overall capacity load" and test again. See F1 help for the field:
This means that when an operation is dispatched at a particular time using finite scheduling the system looks for a date where there is sufficient capacity available.
