BRtools configuration on oracle 12g RAC

Hi SAP experts,

We need to configure BRTools for oracle 12g distributed database RAC.

Please help with below questions:

1} Where do we need to keep BRtools executables like:

BRSPACE,BRCONNECT,BRARCHIVE,BRRESTORE,BRBACKUP,BRRECOVER.

SAP application sever or database server?

we have linux as OS.

2} How Brtools will be called by SAP server.

Any documentation which is available will be very helpful.

Generally brtools needs to installed db server.

Brtools can be called via rfc, remote shell from sap app server.

Hi Avadhesh,

BR Tools should be part of SAP executables (Kernel) which you place at application layer.

Even in distributed environment it is part of Kernel and you have Oracle client to communicate with your database. So BRTools call and connectivity will be taken care automatically.
