This might be related to what Jelena posted on 28.02.2017 - https://answers.sap.com/questions/141948/bugincorrect-link-for-the-tag-in-the-activity-stre.html). It seems that today the links in the Activity stream are even more messed up (or it could be just that today I tried to used them for faster navigation):

The link for SD (Sales and Distribution) currently is:

https://blogs.sap.com/tags/209057551571413566377230676804921/

Just a few items down the list the link to the same tag on another question,

appears to be a proper one: http://go.sap.com/community/tag.html?id=209057551571413566377230676804921

Surprisingly, some links to other tags (for questions again) use a different format:

https://answers.sap.com/questions/metadata/24329/fin-accounts-receivable-and-payable.html

Question 1: Why we have a mix of http and https versions of tag links in the same page?

Question 2: What is the correct representation of primary tag links for questions - go.sap.com or answers.sap.com variant?

Question 3: Why for some questions the links lead to blogs.sap.com?

Question 4: All these screenshots are from moderation-related activities, displayed by a non-moderator (a bug, which was reported in October - https://answers.sap.com/questions/46820/index.html ). Are there any updates when this is planned to be solved?

To avoid some potential misunderstanding - the questions themselves are tagged correctly. If I go to the question detail and check the primary tag link: it is the right one (I think) - the answers.sap.com version, and the questions are displayed properly in the tagged pages. Only the representation in the Activity stream is not correct. What is strange here, is that when I reopened Activity stream now, the questions from my examples are displayed with the correct tags (go.sap.com version). However, there are new questions, which now are displayed with the wrong (blogs.sap.com link version). Unfortunately, I cannot figure out what is common between them - in some cases the update is a moderator activity, in others - it is simply posting an answer. This occurs with different tags, for which there are also questions tagged correctly. It looks pretty random to me.

When I retag questions then I also realized that they stay with the old tag for some hours in the activities. After 3 hours yesterday I saw that they had the right tag in the activity stream, but I have not yet the exact time.

Somehow this retagging is not a real physical exchange of the tag, it looks like a kind of overwriting. I know for example that statistics e.g. views are statistically captured under the initial tag.

Hi, Veselina:

This one covers a lot of ground (tagging, activity stream, moderation...possibly Q&A and blogs too). So I'll need to reach out to several team members for input.

For that reason, please forgive us in advance if some of the responses come back piecemeal.

Best regards,

--Jerry

Hello Veselina,

Thank you so much for reporting this issue. This is relevant to the Activity Stream so I will definitely look into this further. I completely agree that users should be navigated to the same type of content roll pages when they click on a primary tag from their activity streams. The intended design should take users to the Tag Page (containing both blogs and questions tagged with that particular primary tag that was clicked) when they click a primary tag. I will request IT to make sure that it this behaviour is consistent for all primary tags.

Thanks,

Sajid Amir

"should take users to the Tag Page (containing both blogs and questions tagged with that particular primary tag that was clicked) when they click a primary tag" - not 100% sure... If the activity is related to Q&A then may be it's better to go to Q&A with the linked tag. Tag Page is slow to load...
