Connect Power Designer with Solution Manager 7.2

Hi,

I am trying to import BPMNs from our SolMan 7.2 to Power Designer 16.6 SP2 .

What I have done: Created a new Model, then File -> Import -> Solution Manager. Then I entered Hostname, Port (same as firori launchpad!?), my username and password. After clicking on "Next" a new field "Context (package id)" appears and I clicked on it. Then the browser opens and I get the following error on the url like http://<hostname>:<port>/ebb/setup.asp:

Service cannot be reached

What has happened? URL call was terminated because the corresponding service is not available.

The termination occurred in system with error code 404 and for the reason Not found.

Can anyone help me here?

Thanks.

First all, find the host where Solution Manger installed.

Open the url again. Does it work? If so, try to open the url in your PC (assume Powerdesigner also installed on the PC).

The issue is that Solution Manager server cannot be found.

@Felix, did you find any useful documentation beside powerdesigner manual with URL description?

I know nothing about Solution Manager, so I can't help you with your actual issue. There is a possible work-around - can you export BPMN from Solution Manager? If so, you could import the BPMN file into PowerDesigner. I suspect you won't get everything you need, but it might be enough to be useful.
