Solution Manager 3.1 -> 4.0 Unicode Conversion

Does anyone have experience going from Solution Manager 3.1 Non-unicode to 4.0 Unicode? From what I understand this cannot be done in one step. Does the unicode conversion need to happen before the upgrade or after, or either? If it's either, is there a preferred method? Thank you much.

Hi TJ,

Asked a guy from general development, and he said either way is valid. You might have a little less conversions to do in the start release. But this shouldn't make a bit difference.

As I understand from your other postings you already decided to do the upgrade first, didn't you?
