Error creating XSUAA instance - Cloud Foundry (HCP)

Hello everyone,

I'm working on Starter Edition for Cloud Foundry Services (Beta).

I deployed some applications with Cloud Foundry client and created some services (MongoDB, PostgreSQL, RabbitMQ).

They are working well, but now, I need to create a XSUAA instance, but it seems this is not available yet. Is this right?

I don't see any data about the instance, documentation or support.

In addition, when I'm trying to create an instance, I get this error message.

"Unable to create service instance. We are sorry, but we have encountered an internal error. If the problem persists, please create a support ticket."

Hi Matias -- have you had a chance to check again since we released the generally available version of Cloud Foundry? Let us know if you still see any issues. Thanks!

Hi Moya!

I'm having a related problem.

After I've created a new instance I get the same error than Matias.

I'm getting:

Unable to create service instance. We are sorry, but we have encountered an internal error. If the problem persists, please create a support ticket. (403)

Hi Moya,

Today I was finally able to create a new instance of XS UAA service.

I was using hex_dev instead of hex_admin as user for the XS Advanced Cockpit.

Although they seem to have the same rights, by using the later I got the instance running without problems.

Now I'm facing a different error, but out of the scope of this thread.

Hi Nahuel -- thanks for letting me know. Great news that you got it running -- I'm passing this along though to see what might have been going on and whether we need to get you any info on our side (sorry it's not directly my area of expertise).
