Hi All,

I am working in file to proxy scenario. In sxmb_moni I can see my msg eith the error

XML element /MessageHeader/MessageId missing in

SOAP message header (SAP XI Extension).

But I can see the SAP:MessageId tag with a msg Id in the XML file.

Kindly let me know what causes this error and how can I resolve this one?

Thanks & Regards,

Jai Shankar.

Hi,

Have you changes the Message type after generating the Proxy then you need to regenerate the proxy and activate it.

Hi,

If you are using WAS 620 then in your XI adapter you need to use message protocol XI 2.0

Also, check this:

/sap/xi/engine?type=entry

for SAP systems based on SAP BASIS 6.40 (XI 3.0 message protocol).

/sap/xi/engine?type=receiver

for SAP systems based on SAP BASIS 6.20 (XI 2.0 message protocol).

Vijaya

Hi Vijaya,

You did it. I have changed the protocol to XI 3.0.

When I tried to execute with type = entry. It gave me the error.

When I execute it eith Protocol XI2.0 and type=receiver,

it runs perfectly with out an error.

Thanks a lot.

Can you kindly tell me why it produces an error if I try to execute with XI3.0

Thanks again.

Jai Shankar.

Hi Jai,

XI 3.0 has a WAS ( web application server) of version 6.40. XI 2.0 has a WAS of version 6.20 .

<i>When I execute it eith Protocol XI2.0 and type=receiver,

it runs perfectly with out an error. Can you kindly tell me why it produces an error if I try to execute with XI3.0</i>

This implies that your WAS is < 6.40 . Check for this with your BASIS team. When your WAS < 6.4 , you have to use XI adapter with protocol XI 2.0.
