Dear All,
My client would like to do PGI at ERP instead of EWM. Is it possible? if Yes/No please give me some advice,
Thanks and Best regards,
Sarinay
Hi,
simple: you can't, there is no way. The GI is always triggered from EWM. You can not trigger the GI in ERP for the outbound delivery if it is relevant for an external warehouse management.
So to answer your original question: No, it is not possible.

Hi,
well, it is not that it is not a good idea (ok, maybe it is). But for what is the person supposed to post GI? For deliveries? Does not work, you have to do that in EWM. For internal usage? All you get then is an outbound delivery which is transferred to EWM and GI has to be triggered from there. So what is the process?

Hi Juergen,
My client would like to let a person who have access only in ERP to PGI. I understand it is not a good idea at all.
Thanks and Best regards,
Sarinya

Hi,
the advice would be NOT to do it.
Why does the client want to do this? What is the process? In general the GI posting can only come from EWM.
