how to open work book and change the order of the free characteristics

How can i open a workbook and change the order of free characteristics and selection options.

Hi Prasad,

You can change the order of the free chars in the cnage view of the query, or simply by cutting and pasting the rows in the sequence required.When you save the workbook this sequence will remain.

For a change to the sequence of the selections, it is best done in the query properties box (in the query designer)

Hi Prasad,

I assume you are talkign about the variables (selections). If you have changed the order in the query then the same change should be seen when refreshing the workbook too...

Hi, you can change the order by bex toolbar and chang quer definition (global) or (lokal).

lokal means just for the actual user session.
