LOSC+POSC with partial picking

Dear All,

We have a below scenario, partial picking with Pick Point(LOSC) plus POSC(Pick -> Load)

1. Transferring the full pallet (first HU) to the picking point

2. At Pick Point WC, create and pack unnecessary portion in a second HU (waiting for return transfer put back to the bin)

3. Pick the first HU to LOADING-ZONE, right here Destination HU is missing from Pick WT, Loading WT will not generated after confirm this (POSC works only with HU)

I would like Loading WT automatically generate by POSC like others which not pass Pick Point. I'm using Propose Source HU as Destination HU at storage type (not using Pick-HU)

Please give me some advice for this issue or any idea would be appreciated,

Hi Sarinya,

Thank you for info.

As per my knowledge, If you are using RF from Pick point to Loading , we will 2 tasks.

1> Pick Point to Resource

2> Resource to Loading( Automatic generate Internal ).

Storage type setting should be stock on resource.Process type should mention in LOSC. Also check the default Process type incontrol settings for Warehouse.

As per the info ,Source HU as Destination HU in WPT, right ? Please check the same settings for LOSC WPT too and also check for all.

Please check and let us know if still issue persists.

For 2> Resource to Loading( Automatic generate Internal ) as per my knowledge, we have to create and use Pick-HU on RF transaction only, right?. Is there any way without creating Pick-HU on RF? My client would like to done the whole process only on desktop transaction as well

Yes, Propose source HU as destination HU is in both WPT and Storage Type and I've already configured it.

Hi Sarinya,

As per my understanding your process below. Please correct me If I am wrong. As I understand correctly you do not need PICK HU because you create manually HUs in Pick point according to situations.

1> Picking ->Use RF/desktop Confirm in Pick Point

2> Pick Point-> Use Desktop Tcode with Work center for segregated Primary HU to create secondary HUs and decided as per the User Which HUs (Secondary Hus/Primary HUs ) based on situation move to Loading zone .If this is the case why do you not use Adhoc transaction for HU movement ( Pick point to Loading zone ) using desktop/RF , no need to create Pick HU . Just a suggestion for process redesign.

Please add points if any thing missing.

Hi Ajit,

Yes, your understanding is correct but for my issue is after completed pick WT from Pick Point WC to LOADING-ZONE, Loading WT is not automatically created as expectation.

Hi Sarinya,

Points to check for Loading WT

1> In POSC Config, Check Source St. Type/ HU T Grouup and destination as well.

2> After confirmation of task ,HU ( PIck HU/Ship HU ) in LOADING-ZONE should update with Storage process and external step.If updated , still not Loading task not created. Please try to check with manual creation in the Tcode ADHU and check source and destination flowing automatic as per your Load Scenario.

Hi Ajit,

1. the destination of OB04 is just a normal bin ( I'm using bin 'LOAD' for this purpose, WPT '3071' I created for my own just copy from '3070')

2. No, we are not using TU.

I have an issue with 'auto task creation for loading' for only partial picking as the figure below

Full Pick HU: after confirmed WT2156(Pick), WT2158(Load) automatically generated perfectly

But for partial picking (w/Pick Point WC): after confirmed WT2158(Pick) my loading WT is not automatically generated. I noticed WT2158 is going with Dest.Res., Dest HU is missing.. any idea would be appreciated,

Can you please check the settings in LOSC with "A Partial removal- Product task ?

Also check below.

I guess you did all the settings like->OB04(Load)-> Process type 3070 ,Define Source- POSC Setting,tick Auto WT for OB04.

1> What will be the destination in OB04 ?

2> Did you try to create manual loading task Using TU Process ?

"In the goods issue process, you do not define automatic creation of a subsequent WT for the WT for a staging area, because you should create the loading WTs manually when the truck is at the door." -> As per Standard SAP

Please provide info.

Hi Ajit,

Sure, I'm using LOSC+POSC, in POSC I'm using just OB01(Pick) -> OB04(Load).

for Pick Point to Loading Zone is controlled by LOSC, No I'm not handling through WOCR.

Can you Please share your POSC Design ? are your using OB03 ( Pick Point-> Loading Zone )

OB04 ( Loading ) ?

Are you handling through WOCR ?
