But it takes ages to download it.

The lastest version or R/3 is actually been rename to ECC 6.0(ERP Central Component) I would image that you can download from service.sap.com , but it might take forever. You may want to order on DVDs. Contact the person responsible for your SAP account and licenses.

Since this post is in the SAPgui forum, you you really mean that you want to know the lastest version of SAPgui? If so, the latest version of SAPgui is 6.40 patch level 19. This I know you can download from service.sap.com.

I am referring to R/3 and not the SAP GUI. I suppose I have posted in the wrong forum then.

Yah but it is the place SAP software can be downloaded. Select SAM R/3 then you will the download option.
