Hi,

I have a question regarding brarchive on 10g. I completed the oracle upgrade to 10.2.0 just now and after the upgrade everything looks fine.

Except, when I start brarchive u system/<password> , it gives this error:

BR0002I BRARCHIVE 7.00 (14)

BR0006I Start of offline redo log processing: adtandmi.svd 2006-07-12 13.11.48

BR0280I BRARCHIVE time stamp: 2006-07-12 13.11.48

BR0301E SQL error -1031 at location BrInitOraCreate-2

ORA-01031: insufficient privileges

BR0303E Determination of Oracle version failed

But the funny this is if we run brarchive u /, it runs and clears the logs, only gives warning that incorrect username/password.

There is a new role sapconn in 10G which I have created and the script is in /oracle/UTT/102_64/dbs. Looks like something is missing from user system.

Any idea?
