We're using Jam as a learning portal and I have a lot of links to external sites, such as Lynda.com and GetAbstract.com. When the user clicks on a link from within a group it takes them to a lightbox - screenshot attached.
Am I able to develop this slide, as there is a lot of wasted space on the screen? The end user gets confused at this point. Ideally I'd like to turn this page into an iframe, so the external site can sit within the lightbox. I also want to keep the comments, ratings functions on the right hand side.
Please let me know if this is possible or any alternative solutions would be appreciated.
Thank you,
Brandie
Yes, this is possible:
You will need to build an OpenSocial widget for this kind of content. Then you will be able to add content like this as a new type to the content section. The commenting and like features will then still be available.
An explanation on how to build OpenSocial widgets can be found in the developer documentation: https://uacp2.hana.ondemand.com/viewer/u_collaboration_dev_help
