XML IDoc conversion: No known segments identified

Folks,

Sudenly I am getting this error in XI , I tried to delete the restore metadata from IDX2 , still I am facing this error .

Does anybody have any idea what is the issue .

hi,

are you sure you're restring in IDX2

the metadata fro a correct IDOC?

is the RFC (that you use for metadata working?)

Hi Micheal/Moorthy ,

The probelm is we have two client 401 and 201 , when I configure receiver to 401(sandbox)client the idoc flows properly but when I configure the receiver to 201(Dev) I am getting this error.

Hi,

If so , check the IDX1 entry , RFC destination entry. I think, it is not pointing correctly . in XI system

Hi

The issue was sometime back I have chaged the Segment Version of IDOC in Commincation Channel , that's why I was facing this issue.

Hi Manish,

Check out section 8.5.2.4 in SAP XI Trouble shooting guide. It gives a solution to exactly the same problem.

Hi Manish,

Have a look into this SAP Note- 742093

Delete the IDX2 entry and try to reimport once again. And in the IR also do the same.
