C4C reports - HTML tags displayed for custom formatted text field in reports. How to remove it ?

Hi,

We created a Custom field in Activity Task with data type - formatted text. Now when we run the related report, this field is displaying HTML tag before and after text.

How to remove these tags from reports permanently.

Hi,

There is a work around for this issue.

Once you download the Excel file which contains HTML tags, Hold cntl+H key which is nothing but replace key.

Enter <*> in the first text box(Find What).

Leave the second(Replace with text box.

Then click on the replace all button.

This should work for you.

Hi,

This is SAP C4C standard behavior as per 17.02.

Yes I read the blog but couldn't find any solution for my issue. Hence we raised incident with SAP and they told that this bug will be fixed in future releases.As of now there is no solution for this.

Any update on this issue. I even tried to remove some HTML tag’s but there are lots of combination.
