Online-Status in Collaboration

Hello,

I have my status in the Collaboration Launch Pad set on "Auto-Detect". But my status is shown as "offline" (for other users and even for me). All other users have the same problem. The problem started after updating on SP17. Does anybody know, what the problem could be?

Hi Dominik,

Please have a look to the ToolArea if RealTime collaboration is still activated.

Hi,

Here are the instructions to activate RTC in NW04:

Activate RTC

• Log on to the portal as a user with the role of a system administrator.

• Go to the standard framework page:

Content Administration /Portal content/ Portal Users/Standard Portal Users/Default Framework Page.

o Choose Edit->Object.

o Choose Tool Area iView.

o Choose Properties.

o In the Property Category choose “Show all”.

o Change the Enable Real-Time Collaboration to Yes.

o Choose Save.

• Repeat the above process for the following path:

Content Administration/Portal content/Content provided by SAP/End User Content/ /Standard Portal Users/Default Framework Page.
