Hierarchy node variable - options on user entries

Hello,

I have a hierarchy node variable and variables on characteristic values for different InfoObjects.

In Web Reporting for characteristic value variables users are able to type in values.

For hierarchy node variable they must select via F4 from hierarchy tree. Since this selection takes long (have to open each node separately) I`m looking for a better way.

Is ist possible to have user enter manuel value for hierarchy node variable?

Hello,

you can use a Textvariable (1TEXT) and put the value of this per Customer Exit into the hierachy varible, but then you lost your f4 help.
