Unable to logon

Dear all,

We created few users and assigned roles to the users. When we try to logon with the users the logon fails and displays no error message. The logon page just refreshes and displayed again. The login name and password entered is correct. (Authentication Error message is displayed correctly when i give wrong name or password).

This problem was not there when the EP was installed (a month ago). But now it doesnt allow to create and login with the users.

We have EP6 SP16.

Please kindly help me in solving this problem.

Hi,

Please check your user store,

1. probalby the user store is your backend system, if so get the backend roles to portal. or

2. Check the UME configurations by opening the Visual administrator, set accordingly.

Check all the services are running from SAP MMC and check the license expiry date. If not, you better can restart.

are you using a URL or a IP number for access to Portal ?

I am facing the same problem. It was working earlier, but after making some config changes to integrate with BI, now I am unable to log on to portal.

Please let me know if you found a solution.

Hi PKR,

The problem is with the IE. Some setting could have changed. Reset the settings and try again. Try in any other system which has different IE.
