Repair in namespace

Hello,

sorry for probably stupid question :).

I have imported some package in our own namespace to custome r system and i would like to make some changes in objects in this namespace. So i filled an repair license key and wanted to make that changes. But i can create only LOCAL transport request and my question: will be possible to transport changes to production environment? or how should i work with repairs?

hi,

Make the changes with a new request and then transport it to the production server.... the changes made gets reflected even in the production server...

So it doesnt matter that the request is only LOCAL(when i fill in a new request target system, this request cannot be than used for modifications )?

Hi,

LOCAL request can be imported provided you change the target before releasing the request, when importing as it is a repair, choose the option 'Overwrite changes' ,this might help,

try to create the New Transport Request and Transport the Changes to Production.

The new request now contains all your previous and the current changes so why do you want the previous request when you alrady have a request with the changes updated???
