Delay before R/3 extraction can be done

We are experiencing that we need to wait 1 to 2 hours from an actuals posting is done in SAP-FI/CO (R/3 - 4.6C) before we can successfully extract the same postings and load it into our Business Warehouse (BW 3.5). If we extract it before 1 to 2 hours have gone, the postings are not included in the extraction and thus not loaded into BW. From an R/3 point of view, we have not identified any jobs or other processes that need to be run before the extraction can be done to BW.

Is a delay of 1 to 2 hours from posting to extraction can be done normal?

We had and intefase that create CO posting, when it finished we launch automatically an event to load to BW, we hadn't problems with delays. We used R/3 4.7 and BW 3.5

SAP Recommnends to have a min safety interval of 45 min. ofcourse it depends on your business processes.

If required, u can change this safety interval.

I am not sure that I follow you. Why should there be a need for a safety interval?

Are there any technical limitations or settings we should change to ensure that the extractor captures all available data with no delay?
