Currently I'm using the Delete function in Version Management to delete a KF before I run any operators on it, just so I can have a clean slate. I'm trying to build this step into an application job template as a step, but failed so far. Here're the issues:
1, When selecting "Delete Version" as the Operation, the fields "From Version" and "To Version" are still mandatory whereas in Excel add-in when you select "Delete Version", the "To Version" disappears.
2, I tried to put the same version in both "From Version" and "To Version", job scheduling runs into error because it says the "From" and "To" versions cannot be the same.
3, When I tried to put a different Planning Areas in the from and to, the job scheduling went through and the job actually ran without problem, except the KF was copied from the "From Version" to the "To Version" instead of be deleted.
So can someone answer the question on how to use Delete version function in a process job chain?
