Polcy Configurations is missing

Hi Portal Gurus,

Polcy Configurations is missing in Security Provider service in Visual Administrator. Iam not able to login to Visual Administrator its giving an error"

Error while connecting".But J2EE Engine is up and running .when I check in visualadminconsole log saying "logon module not suceeded"

I tried to apply the solution given by sap as follows in configuration tool ..

Configurations -> security -> authentication -> UME User Store. etc...

But still Iam not able to ..

Is there anyway to recover Policy configuration ?
