Unable to activate Standard POS

Hi,

We have a new installation of SAP SCM 5.0 server for sandbox.

When trying to activate the standard POS (9ASNPBAS, 9ADPBAS, 9ASNPSA, 9ATPVSOB), it is giving me a message to save the planning object structure.

As this are standard POS, I am unable to save it and hence unable to activate.

Do send me if you have any documentation relating to this problem or if you have a solution for this.

Hi Raghu,

This popular situation is referred as one of post-installation step stated in the installation guide of SAP SCM in SAP NetWeaver as below.

3.3 Activating Info Objects

Procedure

To activate missing info objects, proceed as follows:

In your ABAP system, run report /SAPAPO/TS_D_OBJECTS_COPY by using transaction SE38.

Click Execute again. The missing info objects are now active.

Hope this is helpful to you. I used to have the same issue in a fresh SAP SCM 7.0 and followed that step, the issue is resolved.

Hi Ragu,

There is a post-installation process to create this PlObjStruct. Please, ask your basis to be sure the process is ok, without warnings.

Hi Hugo,

Our basis team could not resolve this issue. If you can let me know the process that you are talking about, I shall let my basis team know the same. Hope that will resolve my issue.

You should activate infoobject "Planning Object - GUID" 9APLOBJ from bi content and recreate area
