suppressing search help in a standard transaction

hi experts

In a transaction (ooet), for a standard field called 'Day No',there are no input values,but still the search help icon is existing ,next to that.

My requirement is to suppress it,so that the search help icon is not seen ,next to that field.

Any help in this regard wud be appreciated.

you have to modify the standard program.

Hi ALAN

Open the standard program of this transaction and open the screen to which you have to do modification. Then Goto Screen Painter of that screen and select that field. in attributes of that field uncheck entry help check box to make F4 help unavailable. This will solve your problem. If problem presits reply.

Hi,

If the input values are not appearing then what is the problem. Those values may not be existing in table itself. why do you want to change the standard code for that.what is the problem for you if the input icon is appearing.
