authorization to run RSRT t code in BW

Hi,

i had installed BW 3.5 newly.i had created username and assigned the role SAP_ALL to it.now i want to give the authorization to run the queries also in BW for that user.is there any method to extend the authorizations for the user?

Hi Ravi,

To execute queries please do as below.

1.Create a role and add the userID (of the owner of the query.)

2.Login to BEX with the userID who created the query.

3.In BEX add the query to the role you just created.

4.now add the userID to the role (in PFCG)which you want to give authorizations to execute query.

5.Maintain authorizations in the role and do a user comparison.

Now the user can execute queries.

I've created the role for the queries and assigned it to the user also.

But when I log in using that user, I am not able to use the RSRT Tcode, message coming is that I am unauthorized to use the RSRT transaction.

Please specify the role/profile for RSRT execution.
