Classification in ISA R/3 Product Catalog

Hello All,

We are implementing ISA R/3 Edition. We have a Product Heirarchy with Classifications in transaction mm03. I have to replicate or import this product heirarchy into product catalog. Since the Class Type cannot be changed in the Product Catalog I am unable to copy the Product Heirarchy into Product Catalog. Could anyone of you give me idea how to copy/upload or use a Function module into Product Catalog.

Also is it possible to change the Class Type in the Product Catalog. Product Catalog uses Class Type 060 which is the Layout area.

If someone could reply that would be a great help.

Did anyone ever get back to you offline, or did you somehow figure it out yourself?

I am curious about a related question. I am wondering if it's possible to assign Items to a Product Catalog based on a Material Master's Classification characteristics.
