movement type 561 and GL Account 24301000

Hello guys,

I am trying to upload inventory through MB1C but receiving following error:

"field selection for mvmnt type 561 / GL AC 24301000 differs for settlement period (003)"

Can anybody help me how to fix this.

Hi,

The field selection for Movement type 561 is not matching with the field selection of G/L AC 24301000. This is causing the problem.

Go to Tcode: OMWB, in this transaction you can check the difference between the field selection of movement type 561 and G/L AC, then change the field selection accordingly in SPRO for movement type (MM - Inventory -- Movement types -- copy movement types and Tcode: FS00 -- input the G/L account and company code, press enter -- click on tab- create/bank/interest, double click on the field status group, then check the settlement period whether it is suppressed, optional, required in both cases. They should be same in movement type and G/L field selection.

Dear Viswanath,

Thank you for your reply. It did work well but at the end I faced another problem. It popup an error message with stop sign that "Maintain number interval for Quant" and terminates the session.

Do you have any idea how to solve this problem. I have checked number intervals in WM. It sounds ok to me.

Hi,

Have you maintained number ranges for Quant. check in Tcode: SPRO -- Logistics execution -- warehouse management -- master data -- define number ranges -- check here whether you have maintained number ranges for your warehouse.

If you have maintained correctly then you can check whether Inv mgmt mvt type is matched to WM mvt type or not. U can check this in Tcode SPRO -- Logistics execution -- warehouse management -- Activities -- Transfers -- Define movement types -- Check whether for you warehouse mvt type 561 is existing or not.
