RSWUWFML & RSCONN01 (SCOT)

We use program RSWUWFML to notify users of work items they have received (Workflows). RSCONN01 runs on a regular basis (10 mins) to send the emails to their Outlook inboxes.

This works fine for our hourly scheduled RSWUWFML which only picks up a few items (max 20) each time it runs.

However our weekend run of RSWUWFML is set to pick up work items that have been in people's workflow inboxes for the last month and therefore picks up many more items (>120). When RSCONN01 runs after these items have been placed in the SCOT queue we are getting error XS 816 "Cannot transfer message to node SIMG due to RFC error".

Does anyone know of any limit to how many messages can be sent in one hit using RSCONN01?

Hi,

Check the Oss note number 629966, this might give some clue about the issue,

Thank you, but unfortunately this note doesn't help - already looked at it.

The unusual thing is, we only seem to get this error when program RSWUWFML creates a lot of entries for sending in SCOT.

Hi,

Did you check the note 894547, this suggests some changes to the program RSWUWFML, hope this helps,

Program RSWUWFML works fine. It seems to be when it creates a lot of mail items in SCOT that the problem occurs.

The send program RSCONN01 doesn't seem to like too many items to send. I was wondering if anyone knew of a limit in this send program?

Thanks for yor help.
