Problem while filling the setup tables

hi,

I have filled the setup table for Application 17.

but when i try to see in the setup table,it shows zero record.plz suggest me on the same.

Hi,

I have checked the following.

1. Data is available in the base table

2. In NPRT table having the entries against Application 17.

3. when i run the setup table it is telling 38 records processed.

Hi

What selection paramters you are giving when you execute RSA3? and make sure that you are giving Update mode as F.

If with NO selection parameters in RSA3, still you are not able to see any records ..then it is problem with updation of setup tables. For that please check for short dumps in ST22.

Hi:

i am doing the same for appl comp 17.(PM)

please follow the following steps to ensure the data comes into BW:

1. check the data base tables for PM: QMMA, AFIH in r/3. check the record count.

2. LBWE, maintain your Ex stucture, data source, do the job control, print parameters.

3. go to SBIW>>>> delete setup tables

4. SBIW>>>> perform setup tables( give a run name and time)

5. go to RSA3 and check the records.

6. here on you know what should be done in BW.!!

coming to your case, you said there are nor records in RSA3.

so, go to LBWQ, check whether you have proper destination and also the records.

go to RSA7 and check for the delta records(if coming)

you may also want to execute: se38:RMBWV317.

Hi SAP BW

Let's find out step-by-step -

1.how you have executed setup tables job? Background /Dialogue mode?

2.If it was executed in background, have you checked in SM37 and ensured that job was suceessful and the job log confirms it.

3. if Job was successful then have you confirmed this in LIS Set up log in TCODE NPRT for Application 17?

Please let me know your responses on these 3 points

Run the TCODE RSA3 if you are getting records then it is fine.
