Hi everyone,

At the company I work at we are in the progress of changing the factory calendars year interval.

We want to extend the valid to date to 2022 and also bring the valid from date from 2004 to 2014 to ensure that we will not have problems with the performance of the system.

When doing this what do we need to consider in terms of old production orders, reservations, sales orders, purchase orders that might be in the system so we do not harm those?

Are there any guides for what to consider when changing the valid from date for a factory calendar?

Hello

From a PP perspective, you must ensure that there is no MRP relevant planning element (open sales order, open reservation, open production order, planned order, etc...) on a data before the factory calendar validity. Otherwise, you will get an error message when trying to load this planning element in transaction MD04.
