Anyone know what the default OBSCommon password is set to? One of our clients deleted it and none of our add-on's are working. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!!

Quincy,

I am not sure if there is a password or it there is, but you could try this AFTER YOU TAKE A COMPLETE BACKUP OF THE COMPANY DATABASES AND THE SBO-COMMON Db!

1. Open Microsoft SQL Enterprise Manager.

2. Go to you company DB users folder e.g. Databases -> My_Company -> Users)

3 . Click the OBSCommon user (so it will be marked in blue).

4. Right click it and choose -> Delete (this will delete the user).

5. Right click anywhere on the screen and choose -> New Database User.

6. In the Login Name drop down menu choose -> OBSCommon user.

7. In Database Role Membership list (below) check the 'db_owner' box (eventually public and db_owner boxes are both checked).

8. Click the OK button

This question is not an SDK question so it may take time getting a response as this is a forum for development using the SDK.

Thanks Eddy. The problem is, the Login OBSCommon is not there at all. The reason I posted it here is because I can get SAP working, but not the add-on's... Thought it may be related to the SDK. Thanks for the answer.

Quincy,

Do you get any sort of error message?

Just restored the SBO_Common database and everything worked successfully. Thanks for your posting to assist!!! And yes, we were getting the following error message: System.Runtime.InteropServices.COMException The requested lookup key was not found in any active activation content. No idea... Hope it helps someone! Thanks again!
