I have an environment with DEV,QAS and PRD and have transport cubes in multiple areas. Now, when I take an infopackage for say GL hierarchy and try to change the FSV to be loaded in the DEV system it asks me for a transport request.I have currently put such changes-to infopackages under a dumm request. Is there a way to change this behavior? As it is a dev system, repository changes are allowed and hence playing with object changeability isn't helping either. Is there anyway to change this behaviour?
Cheers
Anand
Hi Anand,
This is happening because this InfoPackage has been transported. As you mention, you can either use a dumy request, or simply copy the InfoPackage and use the new one.
Hope this helps...

We use the Dummy Request method Bhanu mentions.

You can enable modification in certains objects in QA or PRD systems althoug they had been transported from DEV. THis can be very useful for example in infopackage, process-chains etc.
The way to this is the following (Now i have no system but i tried to guide you).
Transaction RSA1.
Transport conection.
There is a button with text "object changeabiliy", i think, with a truck drawed. There you can set infopackages as changeable.
