Hi all,

we have a service scenario, where the service engineers go to resource scheduling application to assign themselves and this scheduling application is part of WFM. The WFM is installed as an add-on in the CRM box.

Now my basic question is should I create a WFM site in admin console and subscribe "All business partners" basically employees so that the service engineers can schedule the timings.

or

Since WFM is part of the CRM box there is no need to create a site and assign subscriptions..

Any idea. Any help is highly appreciated..

thanks

Jothi.

Hi Srikanth,

Let me know your question in detail.

Email : melih@nsight-inc.com

Since WFD is part of CRM, there might be some issues.

Thanks, Mel

Jothi,

Since WFM is an add-on in CRM box, we dont have to create SITE id for WFM in admin console. All non-CRM apps such as R3(OLTP),CDB(for mobile sales),BW, etc.. should be created SITE id in SMOEAC.

Let me know if you have any questions.

Thanks

Hi Sudhan,

The admin console has a site type known as "Workforce management". What is this site type and when should it be used...

any idea..

thanks

Jothi.

Jothi,

If workforce management is out of the box, then you might need to create a site type. For instance, if there is a standalone CRM implementation, you dont need to create and assign a site type for R3.

Let me know if you have any questions.

Hi Sudhan,

As the workforce employee database and the CRM database are different, how to synch the employees from CRM into Workforce management...

any idea..

Thanks for your support.

Jothi,

Check whether RFC destinations are created for WFM in SM59. Since u want to synch employees from CRM to WFM,choose ALL BUSINESS PARTNERS(MESG) as the subscription object and select all business transactions as replication objects in publication.

Make sure, u create the logical system before u create site for WFM in SMOEAC.

Lemme know if u have any questions.

Thanks
