SAP SLO and BW impacts

Hi Gurus,

I'm working for a Customer that is evaluating to use SAP SLO (System Landscape Optimisation) tools to "re-organize" his data, subsequently at a Company Re-organization. SAP SLO tools, at my understanding, will change values of some dimensions (Cost center, WBS element, Business Area, and some other) directly on table, for ALL table, ALL records and ALL SAP modules.

Customer asked me a evaluation of impacts on SAP BW/BO for these activities. I'm thinking that we will have to completely delete BW data from all infoproviders and characteristics and then reload all, to have BW and ECC aligned.

BW is 7.0 version, no HANA, and BO is 4.0.

Some of you have direct experience on similar projects? Can share your knowledge?
