Hi Experts,

I want to use secondary index in my select statement, I found the statement also but that statement is like - %_HINTS ORACLE 'INDEX("RSEG" "RSEG~AD")'.

But my database is DB6, so in this case shall i use like - %_HINTS DB6 'INDEX("RSEG" "RSEG~AD")'.

Please suggest.

Thanks,

Read also reference note for your DB like 150037 - DB6: Database hints in Open SQL (or generic note 129385 - Database hints in Open SQL)

If you didn't find, try to compare the two syntax

%_HINTS
  ORACLE 'INDEX("&TABLE&" "COSS~9")'
  DB6 '<IXSCAN TABLE=''COSS'' SAP_INDEX=''9'' />'.
