Hello,
I am following the guide Self service procurement: Configuration guide. Release 500, and can not successfully execute the Replication of materials from R/3 backend systems (Page 47 of the aforementioned guide). The replication that I want to achieve is between a R/3 Enterprise 4.7 Ext. 200 system and a SRM 5.00 system (WebAS 700).
The problem arises in the step Downloading customizing objects, sub-step 3: It is not possible to select the correct destination site. In addition to the default destination (CRM), in previous steps I have created a new destination site (which I named SRM), but in the transaction R3AS this target destination does not appear, even though I followed all the previous steps and notes named on the guide.
Should you give me some advice on this matter? What is possibly wrong? Is there some operation that I have misunderstood?
If you need any more details, do not hesitate to ask.
Thanks.
Hi,
The objects download starts, but the block count stands still in zero (0). I checked the outbound queue in my backend system, and the queues display a SYSFAIL status. This error refered me to a SAP note (588701) but I don't know how to "change the logical system name to its original vaule".
Any tips?
Thanks.

Hi,
Just check in R/3 ,table CRMPRLS for the Logical system name for BAckend system. The RFC destination you created for the Backend system in SRM as well as the Logical system name maintained in SRM for the BAckend system should be the same as maintained in this table(CRMPRLS).

Hi,
Problem solved! I applied the note 765018 to correct the error in the table. Disha, thank you very much.

Hi,
Disha, I checked the table you mentioned (CRMPLS) in the R/3 backend, but the logical system name is erroneous. How do I maintain that? I cannot do it trough the SM30 transaction.
Thanks.

Hi,
I think that the backend is configured properly. My problem is the site destination for the replication.
I have a doubt in the note you mentioned (which I already applied, 720819). In the last step (make the entry in SMOFPARSFA in SRM server), what is the correct entry for "USER" and "Parameter value"? I have entered USER = SRM, and Parameter name = SRM.
Another thing: I cannot change the settings in the CRM site. When I save the settings, the RFC destination goes back to NONE, and the other attributes go blank.
Finally, in transaction <SMWP> all status lights are red...
Thanks in advance for any help.

Eduardo

Hi Eduardo,
in SMOEAC, you need to define 2 sites:
- one for SRM (site type CRM): RFC destination is not used, so NONE is normal
- one for R/3 (site type R/3): enter RFC destination and site attributes will be populated automatically with a backend check

Hi,
As you had mentioned, you need nt create any additional site in SMOEAC other than CRM .FOr the CRM site ,just maintain the correct RFC destination in "SITE ATTRIBUTES".
Hope this will solve ur problem...

Hi,
Pls refer note 720819 for MW settings and initial download.
Broadly the steps for succesful initial load are:
Step 1 : CRMCONSUM , CRMSUBTAB, CRMRFCPAR and CRMPAROLTP tables
Step 2 : program 'BBP_PRODUCT_SETTINGS_MW'
Step 3 : Transaction <SMOEAC>
Create a R/3 site for the backend and allocate the backend RFC destination as the attribute
Step 4 : Then control the status of the sites using transaction <SMWP> in the EBP with middleware menu : portal-> runtime info-> adapter status->parameters-> sites.
All the status should be green.
Step 5 : select the data you want to replicate. The lines that are not set to inactive, indicate your choice for the replication.
From the Enterprise Buyer easy access menu, choose Middleware -> R/3 Data Exchange -> Initial Download -> Object Management -> R3AC3 - Customizing Objects.
Step 6 : initial download
Step 7 : Go to Monitor Download object or transaction R3AM1 to check that the replication was successful
