transaction VA01 variant

hi all,

The requirement is to hide fields from the tab 'Sales' in VA01.I have created a screen variant for the tab sales ,i tested this screen variant & it is hiding the fields but when i assign this screen variant to the transaction variant it doesnt hide the fields in tab 'Sales' it shows all the fields.

any idea how to solve this problem?

Hi,

add the transaction variant in SHD0 to the transaction code and check.it will work.

example : if you added transaction variant Z_SE11 to the

transaction SE11 , you can find the transaction variant in menu system->status. check this also.

Hi AS,

Select the fields u want to hide by selecting the check box provided to appropriate field in Tcode SHD0... and save in SAP Package...

U can check this variant BUS2103 which is assigned to VA01

and u can test within SHD0 for created variant...
