Increase or transfer the length of GL account group from 4 digit to 6 digit

Hi experts,

Actually, we want to increase the length of general ledger account group from existing 4 digits to 6 digits.

Solution would be appriciable.

Hi Ganesh,

It's not possible with Chart of Account Groups.

The field T077S-KTOKS is 4 character field. There is no other field to supplement it like it happens with G/L Account.

This has to be done at Chart Of Account (COA) Level.

Follow the following path (Tcode OB13😞

Double click on the Chart of accounts assigned to your company code (If you do not know which COA is assigned, you can view it in OBY6)

Change the length From 4 (in your case) to 6
